Pls let me chime-in on Capt. G’s message above.
The Capt and I go way back. ( ~ 1995’ ish). We’ve rekindled our love for what we’ve dubbed our “backyard” and “front yard”, Florida Bay and The Atlantic, and how fortunate we are to live in the middle. Capt G and I have fished 3 times in the past 3 weeks and I can’t think of someone I’d rather spend a day on the water with. We fished twice in his great Marquesa Skiff and once on my boat. He put me on a fabulous permit and a day full of snook and reds. He knows his stuff, works super hard, all the while he’s truly having fun and shares that with the anglers. He knows keys history and the surrounding nature. We Reef fished on my boat. While the conditions were tough, had a blast catching a cooler full of asst “groundfish”. He’s also a very talented angler.
All that being said, pls think of your past experiences with him or consider him for a new, upcoming fishing adventure.
As a former Charter Boat Capt and the retired General Manager of WorldWide Sportsman, I’ve seen most, fished with a bunch and as noted, can’t think of anyone that I’d rather spend a day on the water with.
